FAQ's for Yoga at LUXE

Parking

We have plenty of safe street parking directly outside the studio and all around the block.
 

Cancelling or Rescheduling

If you cancel within 12 hours of class time, you may forfeit a class from your pass or incur a $5 no-show fee. If circumstances are truly beyond your control, we are happy to accommodate your rescheduling needs. Please call or text us first at 510-722-3016. For non-urgent support, email us at michael@michaelfireborn.com.
 

Late Policy

We operate on a first come, first served basis. If you are running late, you are welcome to quietly enter class within a 5 minute window of the start time. To protect the peaceful atmosphere and safety of our practice, doors lock after 5 minutes and late entry is not guaranteed.
 

Waitlists and Sold Out Classes

When a class is full, be sure to join the online waitlist and send us a quick text at 510-722-3016! We also hold a few spots for walk-ins on a first come, first served basis, so you are always welcome to stop by the studio to see if space opens up.
 

Classpass (coming Fall 26)

We welcome Classpass members at LUXE. If you experience booking or app issues, please contact Classpass support directly. As a courtesy to our guests, if you reserve via Classpass but miss class, we do our best to check you in manually so you avoid extra third-party fees.
 

Room Temperature

Our studio room is comfortably warm, generally kept between 80 and 90 degrees depending on the outside weather. This warmth helps loosen muscles and deepen breathwork without overheating. As our community grows, we plan to install state-of-the-art infrared heating panels for specialized hot yoga classes.
 

Beginners

While we do not currently have dedicated beginner-only classes, all of our offerings are beginner-friendly! Here are a few tips if you are new to the practice:

  • Tell Your Instructor: Let Michael or your teacher know you are new before class begins.

  • Choose a Middle Spot: Set your mat near the center of the room so you can easily observe others no matter which way you turn.

  • Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water and electrolytes throughout the day before practice.

  • Rest Whenever Needed: Take child’s pose or sit comfortably anytime you feel light-headed, tired, or overwhelmed.

At LUXE, yoga is more than just a workout. It is a complete practice designed to quiet the mind, open the heart, and strengthen the body. We do not divide classes by levels because our instructors provide options and modifications for every body. Whether you need an accessible variation or a deeper physical challenge, Michael and our teaching team guide you gently toward a practice that fits your life both on and off the mat.
 

Member Credits for Autopay Members

For our 3 month autopay Angels, we offer account credits for missed days due to travel or illness. We do not pause monthly membership payments. Instead, track your days away and email michael@michaelfireborn.com after you return so we can credit that time to your account. This courtesy applies strictly to 3 month autopay memberships and cannot be extended to class passes or promotional specials.
 

Rental Equipment

Yes! We offer equipment rentals at the front desk:

  • Mat Rental: $4

  • Towel Rental: $3

  • Mat & Towel Combo: $6
